In September, the group OngiJangee performed for Good Neighbors Canada for the first time! The award-winning choir, formed in 1987, put on eight benefit concerts in London, Toronto, and the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

The events were in support of our child sponsorship program in the Dominican Republic.

We are very happy to say we are welcoming 27 new monthly donors!

Thanks to them, 32 children have been sponsored, as some donors chose to sponsor more than one child.

Throughout the month of October, all children have been successfully matched with a donor, after a careful review of the kids in the program to find the ones with the biggest needs. All welcome packs have been mailed.

Thank you for helping underprivileged children see a future beyond poverty!

Wishing Well

We would like to thank volunteers and everyone who attended these concerts!  A special thank you to all of those who made a donation and helped us raise $2,507.92 for Wishing Well, our project that builds wells in rural areas in Zambia.

We also had proceeds from our Pumpkin Spice 5K, which were $2,868.23, and a generous donation of $131.77 which brought us to $3,000, just the amount needed to build one well in Zambia!

We are getting additional donations to Wishing Well as well, and so far this year, we have reached $6,168.24, enough for 2 new wells!
