The Great Canadian Giving Challenge: over $1,000 donated!

We would like to thank you all one more time for participating in the Great Canadian Giving Challenge 2020.
Even though we didn’t win the grand prize of $20,000, your donations in June through the campaign reached a total of $1,250.40 to different projects and campaigns!
The challenge
During the whole month of June, every $1* donated to us via the campaign automatically counted as an entry to try to win us a $20,000 prize. The initiative from CanadaHelps gave charities a chance to impact more people.
Our main campaigns this year
If we were to win, $10,000 would be destined to our COVID-19 Food Relief campaign in London, Ontario, helping Meals on Wheels, Mission Services and the Food Bank. This campaign is extended until the end of July, so if you have the means to help, we would be very grateful!
The other $10,000 would help our neighbours in Guatemala. The country is home to La Palangana Primary School, which is the focus of our Save a School. Since we had to postpone our Minds in Bloom fundraiser to 2021, we have decided to support the community with food and water, which they are struggling with.
