Our province is days away from entering Step 1 of reopening, on June 11. In the new framework, that means more outdoor settings, like restaurant patios, will be allowed to reopen.
We are slowly making progress, with lower case counts and death rates dropping.
However, this pandemic is still far from being over. With rising concern over the delta variant, it is essential that we keep observing physical distancing, wearing masks, as well as washing and sanitizing our hands.
Lending care facilities a helping hand
Last week, thanks to the incredible support of volunteers and 40 PointClickCare employees, we collected and distributed 4,752 hand sanitizers made by Maverick Distillery in Oakville, Ontario.
We were able to deliver boxes of the product to a total of 200 care homes in several cities in the province, from Owen Sound to Sarnia. Read the thank you letter from one of them here: Radiant Care.
Maverick reached out to Good Neighbors to donate the bottles of sanitizer, while PointClickCare volunteered to join us in delivering them.
We are extremely thankful to everybody who participated in this initiative to help keep our communities safe!
