International Development Week: Good Neighbours Canada Shared Stories at NGO Fair at Centennial College
Every year, Good Neighbours Canada plays an active role in International Development Week, an annual event held during the week of February, to contribute to spotlighting and celebrating efforts of Canadian communities towards fostering a more inclusive and peaceful world.
On Tuesday, February 6, Good Neighbours Canada joined the International Development Week NGO Fair hosted by the International Development Postgraduate Program of the Business School at Centennial College.
Our Project Manager, Rachel Morrison, unveiled our work and shared stories that reflect our core commitment to creating positive change for a brighter future in international communities. We engaged with local students and professionals who resonated with humanitarian efforts, and were delighted to see over 40 students express their enthusiasm about volunteering with us.
We appreciate your resonance with our mission and your expressed interest in collaborating with us. Our deepest gratitude extends to Dr. Vida Shehara and the International Development team at Centennial College for their invaluable support and for providing us with this unique opportunity.
