Our programs aim for sustainable, long-term change to break poverty cycles and create lasting impact in communities. Sponsoring a child helps them envision a future beyond poverty.
Your support enables children to thrive through vital assistance such as daily nutritious meals, routine medical check-ups, hygiene kits, education, school supplies, bathroom reconstruction, and parental involvement in income generation programs.
Once you are paired with a child in our program, you will be able to track their progress through annual reports.
You may sponsor for as long as you would like and be matched with more than one child.

Essential Necessities
FOOD
Sometimes children go days without eating because their families live from day to day and sometimes cannot buy enough.
HEALTH
Children in rural areas lack access to affordable medical care, leading their families to rely on home remedies, that can worsen symptoms.
EDUCATION
Due to poverty, parents prioritize providing food over addressing educational concerns for the children in the program. High prices of school supplies prompt families to rely on Good Neighbours' annual deliveries.
DRINKING WATER
Many of these children do not have access to water suitable for human consumption and sanitation.

Our Child Sponsorship program allowed her to have a safe home, quality education, and medical care. She grew up in a healthy environment, with her sponsor's continuous dedication. Thanks to our program, she was accepted into the National University of Mongolia to study medicine.

Are you an existing child sponsor? Do you want to reach out to your sponsored child?
Aside from our annual update letters, existing child sponsors can send personalized messages, pictures, and extra gift money to their sponsored child. Good Neighbours Canada will coordinate with the respective local teams to make sure the child receives the messages. Sponsors get the chance to develop stronger connections with their child, and there is even the possibility that the child will send a reply back!
To send a letter to your sponsored child, you will need your Donor ID and Child IDs. For information on your IDs, you can contact us at hello@gncanaca.ca. If you have your information, click the button below to send a message!
We are a Canadian registered charity (Registration Number: 72273 2922 RR0001), therefore donations are eligible for a tax receipt, issued to the donor’s email. Changes and cancellations can be made anytime. Donors have the options of creating a donor account, powered by CanadaHelps DMS, to update information online.
