How can you be a good neighbour?

Our team was invited to join Orientation Serves (OServes) on September 11 at Western University to discuss the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this year’s event theme.

Jessica Lee, our Donor Relations Manager, discussed the key issues we tackle in Canada and abroad, like our social enterprise project through Goods4Causes and our fundraiser for our Wishing Well project in Zambia.

Students were encouraged to talk about how they can get involved in their local community. Check out the TikTok videos below created by one group to motivate people to be good neighbours!

OServes

Orientation Services is an opportunity for Western students to connect with local organizations and spend an afternoon volunteering. In this year's meeting, students were also given the chance to write letters to children in Guatemala for our Save a School campaign.
