Hands of Healing
Hands of Healing is a community based project that supports Korean seniors on their journey toward emotional healing, cultural expression and a renewed social connection. Rooted in traditional Korean arts and crafts, this project creates inclusive spaces where seniors can share stories, rebuild community ties, and celebrate their heritage. This exhibit showcases the culmination of three months of creative exploration and cultural storytelling. Each artwork is more than a visual piece. It represents personal memories, collective resilience, and the deep cultural roots of our participants.
Visitors are invited not only to witness this powerful expression but also to take part in sustaining it. Select pieces are available for purchase, with proceeds reinvested into programs that support seniors’ economic self-reliance and community participation.

This exhibition was created to support Korean seniors living in Canada on their journey toward emotional healing and a renewed sense of community.
Through traditional Korean arts—such as hanji crafts, minhwa painting, and mother-of-pearl work—participants have expressed personal memories, stories, and heartfelt emotions through their handmade creations.
We warmly invite you to witness these meaningful works and stories in person.
Your presence will offer great encouragement and show appreciation for their courage and passion. Please come and support them with your kind heart.
