Good Neighbors Canada’s Impact at the Happy Senior Centre

Community Engagement
Good Neighbors Canada presented a lecture titled “Becoming a World Citizen” at the Happy Senior Centre on May 9, 2023. The lecture aimed to inspire participants to engage with global issues and contribute to a better world. Through engaging discussions, we explored the importance of volunteering, donations, and personal involvement in community initiatives. Around 50 enthusiastic participants joined us for this enlightening session, highlighting the power of collective action and its positive impact on local and global communities.
We also took part in their recent “Parent Day” event, recognizing the importance of community at every age. By supporting the event, we showed our commitment to building connections and meeting the needs of local residents. It was a joyful occasion, fostering laughter, shared experiences, and a true sense of togetherness.
Ensuring Health and Safety
In light of the ongoing pandemic, we recognize the importance of maintaining the health and well-being of our community members. As part of our efforts to prioritize safety, we have equipped the Happy Senior Centre with supplies to ensure the safety of their community by donating hundreds of units of hand sanitizer.
