We’re pleased to share that Good Neighbours Canada has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Windsor Chapter of the World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Association (OKTA).
The signing ceremony was held on Saturday at the London Central Library and was attended by Mr. Dongsik Ji, President of OKTA Windsor, and Ms. Hyang Cho, Executive Director of Good Neighbours Canada. Also in attendance were Pastor Guewoo Ji, Board Director of Good Neighbours Canada, along with other members of OKTA and the Korean Canadian business community.
This partnership was launched in celebration of OKTA Windsor’s first anniversary. To mark the occasion, OKTA Windsor members have committed to making monthly contributions to Good Neighbours Canada, taking turns as individual donors. This meaningful gesture reflects their desire to give back and be part of broader global efforts to support those in need.
This collaboration is a step forward in encouraging charitable giving among Korean Canadian business owners. By partnering together, we hope to strengthen the culture of community contribution and explore further opportunities to work with OKTA Windsor and other OKTA chapters across Canada.
We look ahead with great anticipation to the impact this partnership will foster in our communities.
